What a very pretty vessel, coded to MCA standards as a passenger ferry for day and evening river cruises. This vessel is being sold with the opportunity to take over her existing cruises in the Plymouth area, or she could be easily transported and re-coded for use elsewhere. Expertly maintained and kept up to operating standards, the new owner would have little to do for many years to come. These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. Register with Boatshed to see 29 extra photos of this Passenger Vessel River Cruiser MCA Coded. This Passenger... read more

Big sister to the popular Cirrus 22 & designed by John Butler with not only speed in mind but also the ability to involve the family in weekend sailing, the Westerly Tiger came with foam backed headlining and running water. A real treat back in the early 1970s. The original engine was replaced with a 10hp Beta Marine engine and although the head-linings in this old girl need a bit of attention, overall, she appears to be in good condition for her age. Built to last, this would make for a good, solid family cruiser at a very reasonable price. The current owner does not have time to get out ont... read more

Back in it's hay day, the O'day was the 25 footer of choice out in the USA and with over 2500 sold, it was a best seller. This version, suitable for deep water sailing or shoal and estuary sailing, has an incapsulated lead weighted keel with a lifting centre board. Although the upholstery could do with updating, she is stiff, well balanced and forgiving. An easy boat to sail. She was built with racing and serious cruising in mind and for a boat of her length, she seems to have plenty of room both in the cockpit and down below. The side decks are also wide and easy to move around. The taber... read more

Owned for 25 years by the same owner who has looked after her well. The Morgan Giles 30 has a good reputation for sea keeping qualities and this example had the standing rigging replaced in 2015, the original engine has been replaced with a Beta and the wooden cockpit seating has recently been re-varnished. Although the hull could do with a rub down / anti foul the boat is clean, dry and tidy and comes complete with a tender and outboard. These boat details are subject to contract. This well travelled, well equipped and well proven blue water cruiser is looking for new owners. Easy to sail shorthanded & roomy enough for the whole family, she is comfortable to live on and makes for a great long term live aboard for travelling the world. The centre cockpit with solid spray screen provides a well protected and safe environment to sail from, whilst the inmast main and furling Genoa allow you to stay there, when you want to. The decks are nice and wide and easy to move around. The accommodation is light, airy and includes two en-suite cabins, the aft one is particularly c... read more

If you're looking for a comfortable, cosy and characterful home on the water, then come and have a look at this well restored and maintained wooden motor vessel. Built by Brooke Marine of Lowestoft in 1937 as a prototype estuary and river cruiser, this vessel was used as the builders demonstration model until the outbreak of the war when she was at first chartered and then bought by the Royal Navy. Shipped out to Australia, for the duration of the war, she was employed as a support vessel to a flying boat squadron. Post war, returned to England and purchased back by Brooke Marine where she wa... read more

This strong, seaworthy, twin engines fishing boat could soon be ready to go. As far as a project goes she is coming on nicely. Most of the expensive work, such as improvements to the wiring, the engines and the drive legs, has already been carried out by professionals under the current owner but due to a change in personal circumstances, the owner has now decided to sell her on as she is. Although she might appear a bit rough and not quite ready at the moment, this could soon change in the hands of an enthusiastic new owner. For a twin engined craft of her size, build and price, this is a... read more

Based on the Elizabethan 30 cruiser/ racer hull (considered by many as a classic), the Hummingbird, with a slightly higher coach roof and more spacious accommodation, is a fast and seaworthy cruiser. This example, set up for single or short handed sailing, has proved herself to be an excellent passage maker. The owner has sailed her out to the Balearics and back & also sailed her across the English Channel on over 20 occasions. Unfortunately due to ill health, this vessel has not been used this season and the fact that she has been sat on her mooring during this time makes her look a little n... read more

Triune of Troy As featured in September's (2015) PBO magazine, Classic Boat November 2006, Laurent Giles: Evolution of Yacht Design and in the Yachtsman's Annual Who's Who 1938-39, this classic Laurent Giles design, a Channel class offshore cruiser racer, is beautiful, powerful and timeless. The current owners, who have lovingly cared for and constantly improved her over their 24 years of ownership, have regularly attended and raced in classic yacht regattas, including that of Plymouth, Fowey and Falmouth. They have also tried to spend two weeks annually in Brittany, where in 2013 she won her... read more
